Luxury on top of the world

Contrary to what seems to be popular belief
accoording to the comment converstaion on my last post
I have not been on a two-week holiday
Neither from my computer nor from my home
Just from the blog

However, we did just have a three-day holiday
In a luxury suite
Up on SilverStar Mountain

This is the fourth year in a row we've been there
The guys do their biking
and I play tourist
This picture is from last year

This is as good as it got this year

When you go every year, you tend to not want to take the same pictures over and over

I, however, conquered my fear and managed to ride the bike lift to the top of the mountain

Absolutely stunning!!!

  1. Yes it is ... absolutely stunning. What a ride on the lift that must have been.

    1. The ride on the lift was done mostly with my eyes either closed or glued on my son's face in order not to look down!!

  2. That IS a gorgeous view ! And I love that top photo - looks like a great place to unwind (and leave the biking to others who feel so inclined !).

  3. Wow, this is beautiful! Thanks for braving the heights and giving us a view from the top of creation. :-)

(For the record, I'll behave here today and not get carried away in conversation with others! lol)

    Cheers.

  6. These are absolutely gorgeous! And I have to say, I would have been dicey on the bicycle lift to the top of the mountain, but it sure looked like it was worth it!

  8. Okayyyyyy crap. I've wrote this whole book as a reply and it vanished.
God I hate computers when they do that.

Well anyhow you look amazing on top of the world. Good for you you'd gave it a go. See where things get you. Can't remember you being such a chicken when we were kiddos. ;-)

Tell the guys they look very very very handsome.
    Wonderful hugs Dagmar
