Winter Wonderland??

"Snow in the spring is abominable, like a slap in the face when one expected a kiss"

paraphrased from Lucy Maud Montgomery

We live in a beautiful area of British Columbia, in fact, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else, but, one of the drawbacks we must learn to live with is the fact that it can snow at any time, ask my pal Dagmar about the time she was here in July and we had snow on the laundry hanging outside!

  1. What a difference a day makes! It's beautiful, but after your previous posting, I can see where you could be getting a bit antsy for Spring to hang around for a while. Ah well, snow is good, too.

  2. I don't envy you now cousin!. Today was so warm and lovely here (I know you don't wanna hear this, but I'll give it to you anyway) I worked out in the backyard in a tanktop. Hmmmmmm. Okay okay I'm sending over some sunbeams. Catch. Hugs.

  3. Joyce thank you for stopping by my blog. It means more to me than you realise.

Your world is beautiful but snow falls at any given time would take some getting used to.

Your latest entry about using all you were given really touched me this morning.

As for the words that seemingly do not make sense... I had to endure an afternoon of non stop gossip as my husband and I were invited out for lunch with acquaintances who we could not turn down. It was painful as I find gossip to be very shallow and empty. I found myelf drifting in and out of the conversation, completely out of tune most of the time.

    Hugs,
    Claire
Hope to see more of you.

you asked me how i put in the reading gadget in the sidebar of my blog. i just added another "text" gadget to the side. you should be able to add a title for it and any contents you wanted.

  6. Hi Joyce,

Thanks for stopping by, lovely to meet you! I love snow but hate the cold (I know, it doesn't really make sense but I just think that if it HAS to be cold, then at least we should have something pretty to compensate) so I am certain I would not be able to live where you do. But how pretty it looks from here! Everyone needs spring and summer too though so I wish you more of those soon... :)
