I am SO not ready for this...........

This is what we woke up to this morning. Flakes are still swirling through the air outside my window. I know it won't last, by this afternoon it'll be gone again, but it is a not so subtle reminder that we need to clean out the gardens before the ground freezes (I always seem to wait too long for that!), put the winter tires on the vehicles, haul our winter coats & things out of the shed, make sure the ice scrapers are in the vehicles, get the sand bucket out by the front steps, Take the water hose off & turn the water line to it off........ugh!

Maybe I need to try to win a free pair of boots at this place, thanks to homespun living for the linkblack uggs">

  1. Wow!! I am soooo not ready for that either. I'm putting my sandals and summer clothes away this weekend. Haven't given a thought to ice scrapers, yet!

  3. Woooaa!! I would not be ready for that either!!! Although we had a snowy flutter last October I'm hoping we might avoid that this year... :)

PS Thanks for your reading recommendations - some new names for me there, which is great!

  5. Joyce so good to be back in your corner. I was just standing in the sun this morning soaking it up and thinking that it might be the last bit of sun I see for a long long time. I am hoping that it will show its face again... Living in your part of the world really does require serious preparation for winter!
